This Manual Safety Pilot lighting kit provides safety shutdown, by means of a Thermocouple System, in the event of an interruption in the gas supply or if the flame goes out. It also provides a convenient way of lighting the fireplace. With a simple turn of the knob, the main burner will alight and you will have the ability to adjust the flame height. A Safety Pilot Control is required for all propane applications and is recommended for natural gas applications, however, it may be required in certain jurisdictions. For indoor use only.
