If firepit has an existing round burner you can use it but make sure that it is not rusted through. If you decide to use your existing burner, jump to step 4. If you decide to change the burner, place valve in the “off” position and remove the old burner. |
3. |
Remove the new burner from the box and place it into the firepit with the holes facing down, then place the plug on the top of the burner. |
4. |
You can fill the gaps with a bag of Lavarock so that you do not have to use so much glass, but this is not a necessity if you have enough glass. |
5. |
Start to cover the lavarock with the blazingglass product from American fireglass. |
6. |
Complete the installation by covering the burner completely with the glass. |
7. |
Make sure that you do not have any open spaces in the firepit so that you get the complete affect of the glass. |
8. |
Step back and light the firepit. |
9. |
Watch while the flames dance over the glass reflecting the images like thousands of mirrors making the glass appear as if it was like fire on diamonds or ice. |
